MPS Seminars return for 2022/2023 Academic year

Join the Molecular Plant Sciences (MPS) program Fall and Spring semester for the Monday seminar series.

A vibrant seminar series fosters discourse, exposes participants to diverse scientific thought, builds networks and cements community. Seminar participation is for everyone; graduate students gain insight into the wider world of research, postdocs make valuable contacts for future jobs and faculty members keep current on new trends and technologies.

The seminars will take place most Mondays from 4:00-5:00 pm in person in MPS 1200 or virtually through Zoom.

Several changes have come to the program this year, including some time post-presentation to talk with the presenter over refreshments, and a raffle and participation award for students and postdocs based on the number of seminars attended, each worth up to $100.

All interested students and postdocs may join the luncheon with the speaker Mondays at 12:00 regardless of formal affiliation with the MPS program. If you would like to join the luncheon, simply let Heather Sharick (sharickh@msu.edu) know at least 5 days before the speaker comes.
